What does Great Bones do you ask?

We provide a custom strength training experience that combines science with exercise allowing for incredible results in a 30 minute session. We use Power Plate and bioDenisty to build strength, balance, flexibility and bone density, depending on what you need. The sessions are completely customizable so that we can work with anyone from athletes to those challenged with limited mobility.



1. Power Plate - Flexibility 


Our sessions always begin with stretching. Using the Power Plate we do leg, back and shoulder stretches to warm up the body and the mind before we get to the bioDensity. If you come in and have a specific muscle or joint that is sore or stiff we will take a few extra minutes to focus on loosening you up.

2. bioDenisty - Muscle Strength & Bone Density

The next stop is the bioDensity machine. The bioDensity consists of four (4) exercises to stimulate the body to build muscle strength and increase bone density.

The four exercises include:

Chest Press for chest and arm muscles

Leg Press for leg and gluteus muscles

Core Pull for abdominal muscles

Vertical Lift for back and shoulder muscles

These same exercises help increase bone density in the hips, legs, arms and spine. 

The four exercises on this machine are all isometric, meaning their is no range of motion while doing the exercise and you apply the pressure yourself. The machine doesn't put any pressure on the user. We have clients pushing multiples of their body weight during the chest press and leg press. 3. Power Plate - Balance, Core Strength & Power


After using the bioDensity, we return to the Power Plate and that’s where we customize the workout to the user. We do balance exercises, core exercises, and strength exercises for the entire body while focusing on your goals and what we observe your potential weaknesses are.

4. Power Plate - Massage


Finally, we finish your session with a massage facilitated by the Power Plate machine. We always finish with a massage so that you can relax and the machine can stimulate circulation and help the body flush out any lactic acid built up. YOU SHOULD NOT FEEL SORE AFTER A GREAT BONES SESSION. You may feel your muscles the next day, like you used them, but at no time should you feel like you can’t get out of bed the day following a session with great bones.
